Model A Hotrod
The Ford Model A is the original hotrod. Over 4.8 million were sold from 1928 to 1931. Following the conclusion of the second world war they were the best and cheapest option for those wanting to build fast cars. The late 40's and early 50's saw the birth of modern hotroding and at it's core was the the Model A
My Goal with this ongoing project is to build an early style Model A hotrod truck. Barring some upgrades for safety and usability I am using only period appropriate and hand fabricated parts.

The engine of choice, a 1950 8BA Ford Flathead V8. There has never been a more classic engine for hopping up a Model A.
It runs, but only just. Some stuck valves are causing it to only run on five cylinders. I'm hoping I can get away without a rebuild, but I'm not holding my breath.
No shortage of work ahead and I look forward to making more progress toward my goal in the future.
